Our family farm is based in Bosilegrad, while our hives are located in the village of Gornja Lisina, at around 1,300 metres above sea level, near Lake Lisina and Lake Vlasina. This mountain area is one of the few in Serbia with no industry, no pollution and no intensive agriculture.
Clean mountain air and spring water create ideal conditions for beekeeping and give special value to every one of our products. This is precisely what clearly sets us apart from many other honey producers.
Our bees gather nectar from a wide variety of mountain plants – meadow flowers, wild herbs and mountain grasses – which gives our meadow honey its unique aroma and distinctive quality.
All of our honey and propolis undergo quality control in accredited laboratories, ensuring that customers receive products that are natural, pure and free of additives.
A particular advantage of our farm is that a Master of Pharmacy is part of our family. Her expertise contributes to the development of our honey, wax and propolis products, which are made in small batches in the traditional way.
In this way we combine the tradition of beekeeping with scientific knowledge, to ensure that every product retains its natural quality and authenticity.
Remeda is our farm's brand, born from the wish to bring the natural products we create on the mountain pastures of Lisina to everyone who values authenticity, quality and a trustworthy origin.
The name "Remeda" symbolises the union of nature and knowledge – from the mountain apiary to the carefully crafted finished product. Our goal is to give customers products with a clear origin, made in small batches, with full dedication to quality.
For more than two decades, the Aleksandrov family farm has been producing high-quality bee products with care and expertise – honey and the other gifts of the hive.
